Whats On in 2019

Farm Open Days

Sunday 23rd June,   10.30am-1.30pm

Sunday 18th August,  10.30am-1.30pm

These open days are an opportunity for florists, hobbyists, church ladies and everybody who wants to buy flowers in larger quantities to visit us on the flower farm and see what varieties we're growing. You will be given an information pack on your arrival. This information pack will contain all the details you need to know about how to order, conditioning, collection/delivery options and prices.

These dates have been chosen so that you can see early/mid season flowers and then late summer varieties like dahlias etc.

This in an informal day, there will be no set talks or timed tours. You are free to wander though the beds taking notes, pictures and have your own thinking time... but most of all enjoy!

The team will be there to greet you and be on hand to answer any queries you may have.

There is no need to book or any obligation to buy, and you are welcome on both dates if you wish.

Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on the lead as there are many escape routes!

We wouldn't recommend this as an environment for young children, it is a place of industry with working machinery and an area of a building site where our new barn will be in the process of being built.

Farm address: Reydon Lane, first gateway on right off Wangford Road, Reydon. IP18 6SJ (is the nearest postcode)

We look forward to seeing you there!

P.Y.O days

Saturday July 20th,  9.30am - 12.30 noon

Saturday August 17th, 9.30am - 12.30 noon

Saturday September 7th, 9.30am - 12.30 noon

This is something unique for all you flower lovers out there who want just a small amount of flowers, and want the unique experience of choosing and cutting your own blooms. When you arrive you will be handed a pair of snippers and a FOC water filled container to fill with your chosen blooms, then take home to arrange and enjoy in your home. You will get to keep the container so that you can bring it back another time to refill. Eco friendly flowers, fresh and locally grown... it doesn't get better than that!

Each container is suitable for gift or table flowers. (pictures to follow)

Dogs are welcome, but please keep on leads.

The farm is not suitable for very small children, but older children are welcome to join in the fun.

The rose beds and our premium areas will be closed off as these blooms are reserved for our brides and own floristry work. However, there will be plenty of other choices.

We may add other spontaneous PYO dates though the summer, these will be advertised though instagram and facebook, so please follow us so you don't miss out!

No need for booking.

Seed Scavenge

Saturday 5th October, 10am - 1pm

If you would like to grow your own flowers on your allotment or in your garden, then this will be perfect for you. Spend the morning with us and find what's been left by our season of harvesting and the birds... but don't worry there will be loads!

We will supply the bags and snippers and you can either salvage the seeds from their own pods or snip the flower heads off to take home and dry.

(I'm afraid you cannot bring your own bag as we do have to limit the amount you harvest, so there is enough for everyone)

Cost per person - £20

No need for booking, keep dogs on leads and not suitable for small children due to machinery that will be onsite.

We will be on hand to help you identify varieties and answer any questions.
